Coca-Cola offered McCann Bucharest a unique opportunity – come up with a summer campaign for most of the Middle East. They wanted an icon, something as recognizable as the Christmas. The sun was to be at its core.


The agency came up with two proposals. Both so good that they were the finalists and ran against each other. Here’s the one that I worked on:

He would have been the hero of a short, Pixar-like, film that would have introduced both the character and iconic gesture of twisting to refresh – transforming the Coca-Cola cap into a dial that controls the sun

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and caused a nationwide lockdown, McCann Bucharest approached Coca-Cola with a series of proposals where the packaging would be repurposed in a creative way.


Since research showed that the hobbyist inside people is waking up while staying indoors, we proposed a partnership with IKEA.

Christmas is about feeling loved for what you are, no matter your color, sex or creed. Yet Santa has always been a white male. Since Coca-Cola created this icon, we thought it's time we did something about it.


What we proposed was the greatest Santa scouting campaign in history, one that would make all children
