Pepsi and Romania have history together. It was one of the few western brands allowed during communism and always represented society’s need for for freedom.

So, when Pepsi turned 50 in Romania, we came up with a campaign that celebrated all those decades of trying to be free.

We kicked it off with a manifesto that reminded everyone of that history.

Made it contemporary with a series of contextual messages that encouraged people to live the moment – in the case above it says “The flick’s a moment. Ignore it.”

And even made a gigantic mesh that shows 5 decades of free spirit, illustrated by some of Romania’s best designers.
